California Needs Us. Let’s Show Up.

We are building a tool that will help Spanish speaking community members throughout California that are currently under financial and mental duress as a result of current political turmoil.

Thanks to the generosity of caring individuals who want to help, we have an opportunity to convert a very complex website into a lifeline for those affected.  This website will centralize confirmed information into an easily accessible and consumable tool.

We just need a few bucks to make this conversion possible as we build a mechanism to sustain this operation.  Our aim is to raise $15,000 to complete the conversion, then we will need another $10,000 a month to keep the site and social media tools rolling for the rest of the year.  (early projections).

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO READ OUR PROJECT PROPOSAL:

CALIFORNIA WELL OF HOPE

(POZO DE AYUDA DE CALIFORNIA – El Centro de información y ayuda para individuos con retos y necesidades)

This is an initiative of FUNDACODE USA, a 501(c)(3) organization founded in California. Initially established to assist the Salvadoran community (individuals from El Salvador, Central America) in accessing information regarding programs and connecting with non-profit organizations in their home country, the center has since expanded its scope. It now aims to provide support to any California individual experiencing economic, health or legal hardship due to recent governmental policies or enforcement actions.

Luis Alvarado, the founder of FUNDACODE USA, is a respected political analyst frequently featured on major Spanish-language television stations and news publications. With nearly two decades of service to the Spanish-speaking community, he is widely recognized as a prominent figure both nationally and internationally and will be instantly recognizable as a trusted voice..

The Mission

The mission of the center is to serve as a vital resource, offering verifiable information on policies affecting residents of the United States to the Spanish- speaking community. Furthermore, it seeks to function as a dynamic tool, enabling individuals facing economic or legal difficulties to locate and access assistance from non-profit and governmental agencies.

• Information Broadcast:

The center will implement a program dedicated to collecting, reviewing, and disseminating information pertinent to the policy challenges confronting the nation.
A daily program will be broadcast to announce news impacting communities facing particular challenges.
Social media platforms will be utilized to ensure a broad online presence, and experts will be invited to participate in Q&A sessions with clients..

• Website:

Through the generous support of an established distribution magazine, the center will gain access to a website's
back-end infrastructure. This platform will be transformed to include an interactive map, updated daily, serving as a comprehensive "one-stop shop" for individuals in need of shelter, food, legal counsel, clothing, or mental health services.

Discussions are ongoing with major
non-profit centers, including established church organizations. Additionally, the website will facilitate the identification of
specific needs to sustain partner non-profit organizations, encompassing requests for volunteers, goods, or financial donations.

Action Plan

Raise Funds!
The organization will have to retain professional services and
purchase products to build the mechanisms to service the targeted communities.

1. Retain services of a professional graphics team to convert the donated
website skeleton into a viable tool that is easily accessible and consumable to
the target audience.

2. We will need to purchase additional software programs to build and publish
the website.

3. We need to hire a media expert to help program the broadcast. We need to
retain services of personnel to help research the services and connect with
partner non-profit organizations to ensure information is accurate.

We are taking advantage of converting a website that has been donated and took a
year to develop and an expense of over $200,000 to create, we can repurpose it to
give immediate relief to thousands of people that are unexpectedly under great
financial and mental duress.  More than the resources, the human factor where we
will be able to vet and broadcast information, we will be given this community a
sense of security and understanding of what it is truly facing in close to real time.
